Welcome to Safety & Security

The Office of Safety & Security was created under University Risk and Compliance as of August 31, 2005. Its purpose is to coordinate the management and communication related to health, safety, and security issues facing the University community. The office brings responsibility for the Environmental Health and Safety Department and the University Police Department together under the direction of Mr. Christopher Meyer, Assistant Vice President for Safety and Security.
